  • My son, enrolled in kindergarten, was reading books to me by the 100th day of school! I find this amazing and wonderful – he actually likes – scratch that – loves school!. He takes classes in Mandarin Chinese, art, music, gym, learns with iPad technology and so much more. Class size is awesome and he feels connected to his school friends and teachers, which can be hard for shy kids. We are so happy with his experience we are enrolling him for first grade too! I cannot say enough good things about our St. George's School experience. Thank you for making school fun!
  • My daughter is in her 2nd year at St. George's School. All of the students receive significant amounts of personal attention and personalized lessons that just can't be duplicated in a public school setting. She is learning mandarin Chinese, participates in chapel and has grown so much in the "family" type environment the school perpetuates. I couldn't be happier with the academic instruction and feel that her teachers have truly gone above and beyond to maximize her performance. This is a school where everyone truly cares about each child.
  • The school did an amazing job of teaching my daughter to read and write.  In Kindergarten, she was sounding out words and writing stories at home without being prompted to do so by her parents.  The school fostered a desire to do so on her own.  I have no idea how they did it, I just know that I was amazed by it.  And grateful.  At first, I thought she was going to be more comfortable with English as she seemed to struggle a bit with math, then all of a sudden in first grade she was do math facts (we can then arithmetic tables) effortlessly.  I can only image that this was because of some innovative lesson plans and use of iPads.  Bravo!  She also counted to ten in Chinese and was able to sing songs.
  • Great school! Many unique opportunities for learning.
  • This is the 2nd year that my daughter has attended St. George's School and do not have one bad thing to say about it. All the students receive a large amount of attention where you would not find in a public school. Small classroom sizes, means no one gets left behind. The teachers and staff truly do care about each child, and the communication from the teachers to the parents is outstanding.
  • St. George's Elementary School has been such a "godsend" (literally) to my family and children. My 4-year old (now 5) attended there for kindergarten and will now be enrolled yet another year there for 1st grade!! ....and as for my second child, there is already plans in the works for him to pre-register years in advance! :) I have been so amazed by the standard of education and exemplary efforts of the entire staff who were able to co-ordinate a curriculum that truly and really works! I never thought that my own child would be teaching me things that I didn't already know! (foreign language lesson plan).....
  • My daughter has been at St. George's for two years and will be going back for a third. I can't say enough about how much she loves her school family. It is a small school, so there is an enormous amount of personal attention, and you know every person that walks through the door cares tremendously for your child. The academics have been amazing, and the teachers really encourage critical thinking. The sense of community developed amongst the kids is also wonderful. The entire class was crying on the last day of school because they were going to miss their friends and teachers so much. My daughter can't wait to show me the latest thing she is learning on the iPad, or write me a message in Chinese. She can't wait for Wednesdays to see Father Henry for chapel. Their music teacher even wrote songs (with motions) to go with each of their lessons! This is a wonderful place for a child to learn!
